Hunter Medical Research Institute and NSW Regional Health Partners are proud to announce the Consumer and Community Involvement in Health and Medical Research training which will be held in May and June 2019.
The training will build researchers’ skills and confidences in implementing consumer and community involvement in research and will be held in both Newcastle and Armidale. Day 1 will be delivered by Anne McKenzie and focus on building researchers’ skills and confidence in implementing consumer and community involvement in research. Participants will then attend a follow up half day session two weeks later. The follow up session will involve experienced local researchers supporting participants to work through the practicalities of finding and involving consumers in their projects, in ways that add value.
Dates include:
- Monday May 13 PLUS follow up session – Conference Room 1, Officer’s Quarters, James Fletcher Hospital.
- Wednesday May 15 PLUS follow up session – Conference Room 1, Officer’s Quarters, James Fletcher Hospital.
- Friday May 17 PLUS follow up session.
