The Specialist Wound Centre, a participant of our embedded Economist program, has proudly received a $20,000 research grant.
The funding was awarded by Central Coast Local Health District, as part of the Caring For our Future research grants. Based in Woy Woy, the Centre works to improve wound healing rates and patient experiences, as well as economic efficiencies.
The embedded Economist program is piloted by NSW Regional Health Partners. It gives health services the economic evaluation toolbox they need to boost their effectiveness and eliminate waste.
You can read more about the embedded Economist program in the Canberra Times.
