New Edition of Australian Standards for Wounds Prevention and Management Released

NSW Regional Health Partners is pleased to announce the launch of the fourth edition of the Australian Standards for Wounds Prevention and Management.

This edition has been produced through a unique collaboration with Wounds Australia and the Western Australian Health Translation Network (WAHTN) as part of the Australian Health Research Alliance (AHRA) National Wounds Initiative. It provides a contemporary, evidence-based framework for delivery of best practice in wound prevention and management and will support high quality and safe clinical practice that optimises outcomes for those with, or at risk of, wounds. As a member of AHRA, NSW Regional Health Partners is proud to see the outcomes of this national body of work become available.

“This edition stands as a testament to the dedication and collective efforts of numerous individuals in our national healthcare community who contributed to this important project,” said Associate Professor Nicolette Hodyl, Director of NSW Regional Health Partners.
