NSWRHP Research Translation Grant Scheme

NSWRHP is excited to launch its new research translation grant scheme. This scheme is specifically designed to support our partners to work together to solve local health problems.

The grant program is auspiced by NSWRHP but is being coordinated locally by our four health service partners (Hunter New England, Mid North Coast and Central Coast Local Health Districts and Hunter New England Central Coast Primary Health Network). This will ensure the grants are targeted towards local health service priorities.

Each of the health services has aligned the program with their individual strategic priorities but all are underpinned by the same objectives, to:

  • foster collaborations across health services and research organisations
  • build research awareness and capacity in our health service partners
  • facilitate the translation of cost-effective research evidence into practice, to address local health service problems

Projects will be led by health service staff with the support of our academic and research partners. There will be a focus on regional, rural and Indigenous research and an emphasis on capacity building, ensuring new and emerging researchers have the opportunity to be involved.
