NSW Regional Health Partners is excited to share that we are re-establishing our Consumer Advisory Committee. We welcome applications from health care consumers living in the Upper Hunter, New England, Mid North Coast and Western NSW who are willing to contribute their experience to our Consumer Advisory Committee.
At NSW Regional Health Partners, we work to improve health outcomes by making it easier for our health service partners to use evidence and the outcomes of research to deliver the best possible care. A key part of this is promoting consumer involvement in the design, development and implementation of health and medical research – because we know that doing this improves the research and how it is applied to health care.
The Consumer Advisory Committee will provide a consumer perspective to ensure meaningful and appropriate consumer and community involvement in NSW Regional Health Partners-funded activities and initiatives.
