NSW Regional Health Partners is excited to announce that two Hunter researchers have been awarded an Emerging Leaders Fellowship for 2025 with the Women’s Health Research, Translation and Impact Network (WHRTN).
The Leadership Program aims to strengthen and further develop leadership skills of women working across the breadth of women’s health research, and provide networking opportunities. Recipients participate in the Monash University Women in Leadership Program, receive mentoring by WHRTN’s Chief Investigator and Chair, and attend networking events.
Drs Louise Koller-Smith and Saije Endacott have been selected, as part of a cohort of 30 scholars recognised for their leadership potential and contributions to women’s health research.
Dr Louise Koller-Smith is a rheumatologist with Hunter New England Local Health District and a lecturer in the School of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Newcastle.
Dr Saije Endacott is a Research Academic in the School of Biomedical Sciences and Pharmacy at the University of Newcastle
