NSW Regional Health Partners (NSWRHP) was delighted to host its inaugural Research Symposium in Port Macquarie in May.
Fourteen healthcare workers presented their research translation projects to the NSW Regional Health Partners’ Governing Board and Translation Committee, demonstrating the breadth and depth of research translation being delivered by the partnership.
The projects spanned public health, allied health, primary care, specialist and emergency services, with the presenters showcasing initiatives that will strengthen research capability across our footprint and directly improve care for rural and regional patients and the efficiency of health services.
Participants met research colleagues from Hunter New England, Mid North Coast, Central Coast and Western NSW, and left with a strong sense of being part of a wider, collaborative partnership.

We look forward to making this an annual event.
